Perennials are the backbone of a great garden, and on the Oregon coast they can be extraordinary. With our mild winters and long cool springs, many perennials that struggle in hotter inland climates absolutely thrive here. Lavender, salvia, echinacea, heuchera, ornamental grasses, and dozens more come back year after year and often grow larger and lusher than you would expect.

Choosing the right perennial for your specific spot takes a little knowledge. Full coastal exposure is different from a sheltered backyard in town, and a south-facing slope behaves nothing like a north-facing border. Our staff knows this area well and can help you pick plants that will reward you for years, not just one season. Stop in and tell us where you are planting and what you are hoping for.
